Two days ago it was Sunday and Samantha and I did all of our favorite things. i.e.) thrifting, taking photos, reading books, a quick run to Trader Joes to buy pre-made salad and scope out the cute employees we have crushes on, and eating tacos on the sidewalk.
In between enjoying our tacos and great conversation, Samantha got a chip severely lodged in her throat. It was dramatic. I had to run across the street and ask them to get me a cup of water STAT. "MY FRIEND HAS A VERY SHARP CHIP LODGED IN HER THROAT." Thankfully, she survived. The water helped and so did the beans and rice. Actually, I think the beans helped more than the water. Or at least that's what Samantha said. It's been over 24 hours since said incident and my sweet lil sirmanthir is still on the mend. **Note: a chip can do a lot of damage if you inhale it the wrong way. Eat with caution.
Beside the sharp chip, Sunday was pretty much my dream day. I am grateful to have someone who loves to do all of my favorite things equally as much as I do in such close proximity to my bedroom.
Today, I resume school which I am tremendously excited about, actually. My brain is ready to be stretched and challenged and fed new information on the daily. I'm trying to go into this with as much positivity as I can muster in my tiny little five foot frame. :-)
Anyway, here are some photos of the most perfect day for you to enjoy.
